On September 20, 2024, the eagerly awaited VDG Conference of the Association of German Glassblowers (VDG) took place in Kassel. GVB GmbH - Solutions in Glass was proud to be a sponsor of this important event. We would like to thank all participants who visited our stand. It was an exciting symposium full of inspiring presentations, valuable workshops and intensive exchanges with colleagues from the glassblowing community.
Special glass experts from GVB at the VDG Congress
At our stand, visitors had the opportunity to experience the glassblowing community in action and discover exciting innovations in the field of specialty glass. Our expert, Jana Strauch-Braun, provided advice on all specialty glass topics, while Mikko van Dongen was available to answer questions about artisanal colored glass. The GVB team was delighted to exchange ideas with numerous interested parties and took the opportunity to hold valuable discussions about the future of glass processing.
Glassblowing competition at VDG conference 2024
Congratulations to the winners of the VDG 2024 competition! The Verband Deutscher Glasbläser e.V. not only offered interesting lectures and workshops, but also an exciting VDG competition in which the participants produced a volumetric flask with a specified nominal volume.
The 2nd prize sponsored by us with a gross value of 1,000 euros was presented to the deserving winner and can be redeemed in our online store for special glasses. The participants were able to exchange ideas with colleagues. We are delighted with the positive feedback and would like to thank everyone who made the Glassblowing Congress 2024 a success.
